Delivery & Site Questions
Can I get the tracking on the delivery of my plans?
Answer: We will send you the updated tracking link in your email.
When is my delivery date?
Answer: We usually give a time-frame or tentative date. Our logistics team provides a tentative delivery date once an order has been placed.
Do you have free delivery?
Answer: For fully assembled building and offloading we have delivery charges. If your order is a pre-cut kit we have free delivery within the 200 miles radius to a local business.
What are your terms for free shipping?
Answer: To qualify for free shipping, supply a shipping address of a local business that would accept the shipment for you and then arrange with them the delivery for the rest of the way.
What does free shipping cover?
Answer: Our free shipping covers pre-cut kits to the continental USA and Eastern Canada.
How far can you deliver?
Answer: We deliver worldwide to the nearest port.
If I was to place the order this week, how long does it take me? Are these sheds already built and ready to go?
Answer: Leads times vary throughout the season, 3-4 weeks is common for most projects, times will extend out in the busiest period typically June – September. To learn the current lead times speak with a customer service representative today.
What are your delivery options?
Answer: Depends on what is ordered. Typically orders shipping to the Northeast USA transport on our in-house fleet of delivery trucks. Outside the Northeast third party shippers are utilized.
I’m curious how you work, can we drive all the way there?
Answer: Yes the display yard is open every day during daylight hours.
Do you have a rough idea of the delivery surcharge for fully assembled buildings?
Answer: Fully assembled ship out with additional shipping charges based on destination and size of building.
If I order Windows today, how long do you think it takes to get them?
Answer: Accessories in stock ship right away. Small parcels ship via third party, a tracking number is supplied upon shipping. You can pick it up the same day on-site.
And you guys don't do any on-site build?
Answer: JCS is a wood manufacturing company that does not offer contracting services. Projects are designed for the homeowner, directions are in simple layman terms. For professional help review our recommended assemblers.

Where are you guys located?
Answer: 170 Winhall Station Rd, South Londonderry, VT 05155, USA
Directions: We are located 2 miles north of the intersection of Rt 30 & Rt 100 in Southern Vermont. Approximately 3 miles from Stratton Mountains access road in South Londonderry, Vermont. From access road Turn north on route 100, and travel two miles. Turn right onto Winhall Station, a paved road. The office is located 1/8″ of a mile from RT 100 on the right.
Sizing Questions
Is it possible to attach buildings together?
Answer: Yes, a proper foundation is required to make this type of build a success.
What is the largest fully assembled building you can deliver?
Answer: We can deliver a fully assembled building up to 14 wide x 40 long.
Does the frame only kit come in one size?
Answer: Designs are offered in numerous sizes that you can find on our website.
Do you have longer sizes for ramps?
Answer: Yes.
Can you change the size of the windows?
Answer: Windows sizes are predetermined, any changes from the standard options will require onsite cutting. The DIY assembly plans will fit the standard option floor plan.
What is enough space to accommodate your delivery truck?
Answer: Depending on what is being delivered JCS has a fleet of trucks, trailers, forklifts and shed mules, best to review with logistics when arranging delivery.
What is the smallest size for the uninsulated shell of the building?
Answer: 2x4 Garbage Bin is the smallest building, the largest go up and over 2,000 sq ft.
For metal roofing, will it matter what color I pick?
Answer: Typically most designs offer an evergreen metal, eco buildings usually come with a galvalume, upgrade fees apply.

Asphalt and or wood are also options for roofing material.
For added snow load, do you add joists or rafters?
Answer: We increase roof rafters amount for snow loads.
Does the 4-season package come with insulation?
Answer: Yes, the 4-season kit comes with a vapor barrier and insulation.
What does increased floor weight rating mean?
Answer: This increases the load limit for the floor system, consider this option if heavy items will be kept.
Pricing Questions
Is the price on the internet the final price?
Answer: Yes, all efforts are made to keep online pricing accurate, additional charges may apply for shipping and or configuring options.
What is the shipping price to Canada?

What is the difference in pricing if it's delivered and set up at the destination?
Answer: Kits are typically 40% less than having a fully assembled project shipped.
What are the shipping charges for a fully assembled building?
Answer: It depends on the size and location. Between $249 to $499 is a common range.
Do you have an average of how much it costs per square foot to put it together?
Answer: The best way to determine assembly cost is to take the number of estimated hours located on each specification sheet and multiply by your contractor labor rate.

I see your sales. Anything smart for me to do in the off-season to save money?
Answer: Our best price is during the winter season, this is the best time to make purchases.

Answer: Yes, you may configure your own quote online and save it to your Wishlist and share with others. You do not need to speak with a rep nor do you need to put anything into the shopping cart.

Product and Permit Questions
What does it mean when it says 3-season or 4-season?
Answer: A 3-season is prepped and ready for interior finishing, a 4-season includes materials to finish the interior.
What are the free plans that you offer?

Do we need to get building permits?
Answer: Contact your local municipality.

Do you host an overnight stay using any of your cabins as kind of a sample?
Answer: Our owner runs an airbnb, he has a couple of cabins posted in airbnb. You may check the availability on airbnb's website or app.
How much would it cost me to have somebody assemble your building?
Answer: Everyone has different rates, depending on season. You can give our recommended assemblers a call.
Can you add sliders on long walls or windows?
Answer: We don't offer sliders, you have to add it separately.
I want to go and visit your display yard, Is that okay with everything going on right now?
Answer: We are open 7 days a week, for weekdays we are open 9 am to 5 pm, for weekends we are open 9 am to 4 pm.
